Cundy: Tottenham Will Not Be Trophy This Season

Former Chelsea defender Jason Cundy said that it is possible that Tottenham Hotspur will end the season without a trophy after they ran aground in the EFL Cup, but said his former club still has more to worry about than their rivals.

Spurs took a two-goal lead over West Ham United at Wembley when they met at the EFL Cup but conceded three times in the second half which left them out of the competition.

While the Spurs aground, Chelsea advanced to the fifth round by beating Everton 2-1.

Cundy said that without the EFL Cup event, very likely Spurs nirgelar this season.

“Most likely Spurs will not win anything this season,” Cundy told local media.

“But that is not our main focus. Salute to West Ham, especially the manager Slaven Bilic whose position is on the edge. “
